Did you ever wonder how content works on a digital platform? Why do entrepreneurs find content marketing as the best strategy for reaching out to potential audiences? And how can blog traffic impact your business growth?
Today, 69% of B2B marketers have a well-defined content plan. According to Hubspot, marketers who prioritize blogging are 13 times more likely to see a high ROI on investment.
A year ago, I started focusing on increasing organic traffic through blogging to bring leads for my client. My goal was to improve brand marketing using only content and not paid ads.
I was writing day and night, publishing blogs, and continually racking my brains all day for new topics my potential readers could relate to. But I was unable to fetch the traffic, I dreamt.
After several failures, I decided to start from scratch and improve my content strategy. I spent time rebuilding, as I didn’t want to go back to paid advertising. I came up with a new strategy for growing my brand through blogging: a content strategy.
Plan Your Content Strategy
Firstly, decide your goal for developing a content strategy. Further, determine who is your target audience. Know your goals and audience before you begin brainstorming content ideas. This way, you’ll have an easier time in topic selection and determining what’s best for your content strategy.
Choose a Content-Type
In what forms would you like to distribute your content? Infographics? Videos? Blog posts? Having specific topics you want to show your expertise on, you’ll need to determine which formats your target audience prefers which help you express that position.
Create Viral Content
The internet is full of content, and many write-ups are either reposted or don’t provide any value. If you don’t want your content to get lost in that pack, create unique content and offer genuine value to readers.
The more specific and focused you are in your niche, the greater your chances of establishing yourself as an expert writer in your field.
Measure your Results
Measuring your content marketing results is an essential aspect of developing an effective content strategy. Churning out content without evaluating your user feedback is like having a video conference on mute. You need to know what your audience liked and what they didn’t like to improve your content marketing plans.
Content marketing should be 20 percent creation and 80 percent promotion. When you have unique, valuable content and share it on social platforms, it will bring you massive traffic. To learn more about content marketing, check out various blogs here: https://convertrank.com/
